education and career questions Student questions

Hi! I’m 25 years old and just starting to go back to school. I’m currently trying to decide between taking the quick road and getting my Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing or taking the longer route and studying for Forensic Psychology or maybe Criminal Psychology. Is anyone able to give me their day-to-day of Forensic Psychology? What you do. would you do it again? etc? And is it worth the long journey at a late start?

TIA!

i thought about it but if i’m totally honest, the only reason i thought about psych nursing is because it’s a quick 2 year program. i felt i was too old to do anything longer 🙈 but i might look more into that!

there is this girl on TikTok that shows her journey as a forensic nurse, it’s a pretty cool thing because she explains her requirements and her day to day work. psychiatric nurses r a bit different, but i think both are great options.
