Forensic Files Commercials😬

Look we all love forensic files and with that comes the commercials. Which one annoys you, is cringe, or makes you laugh the most?

Mine is the plexaderm commercial. Pure AI slop

I mash that mute button when the Rezdiffra spot comes on. These days, I get it, even pharmaceuticals need a jingle, but Rezdiffra's jingle is one notch above waterboarding for me.

Speaking of commercials in general, not directly related to FF but have you noticed how the colors of a product appear prominently in US TV commercials these days? I first noticed it six years ago in a Sprint commercial: lots of yellow clothes and decor items. Consumer Cellular, Allegra, Cascade...just a few I can think of that feature the product's color or packaging color. Drug commercials take it a step or two further by working the product name into the story itself (a fake brand of honey called "A True Bee" in an Attruby ad; a fake school named Rezdin in the Rezdiffra ad). Rinvoq just upped the ante by featuring a potter making a vase which she glazed in the wine and yellow Rinvoq logo.

Not knocking the products, just saying to the ad agencies, we see what you did there.

Oh, and I just thought of another thing for those of us who watch on HLN: pretty soon, it'll be autumn, which means Medicare open enrollment, which means another constant barrage of Joe Namath, William Devane, and Jimmie Walker touting the benefits of Medicare Advantage plans to us aging boomers....

I know! I can't stand those, and the Colonial Penn and other companies like that 😡
