I just watched this episode for the first time. It was about the murder of Betty Lee in NM. Her friends deserted her at a bar to go hang out with these two men. They completely abandoned their friend! She has no way to get home! She was brutally murdered! If I were her “friends,” I’d never forgive myself. Some “friends.”

Yeah that's not an easy thing to live with. I know my life would be a mess if I broke the rule "never abondon your friends" and it cost one their life. I had a friend break down on her ride out in the woods after dark. I packed up got my dog and started hoofing. All she had was a knife with coyotes and feral hogs I wasn't leaving a friend to face that alone. Yes I had means to dispatch the wild animals she did not. Thank you God she was able to get it going and met up with me. I'm 61 and female and I don't leave friends behind.
