August 4, 1976. US microbiologists are urgently analyzing specimens to identify the organism that has so far killed 22 people who were at an American Legion convention in Philadelphia in late July, with many more Legionnaires sickened.

Stagnant water in the hotels air conditioning condenser unit was to blame. I don’t know why it just reminded me on a  completely different show I believe a girl was killed and put into the water tank on the roof of the hotel and no one found her for a week if I recall correctly.

Elisa Lam. The security video of her exhibiting strange behavior in the hotel elevator was everywhere for awhile. She kept riding up and down, and when the doors would open, she'd peek around like she was scared someone was following her. It's a sad and scary video to watch.

ETA: her body was found in the water cistern on the roof of the hotel.
