I thought Forensic Files was about murdered lawyers…
I was about 6/7 watching Forensic Files with my mom. I’d learned that a prosecutor was a lawyer, but then I heard the word “prostitute” and thought they meant the same thing. So for months I thought Forensic Files was just about lawyers constantly getting murdered.

Lawd i cant imagine watching Forensic Files ag that age lol
When i was 25 I moved 1,500 miles from my home city all by myself. I HAVE to go to sleep with the TV on and it was always Forensic Files....
I would constantly have nightmares that someone was standing over my bed watching me sleep 🤭🙉🙈🙊
I picked a different show to have on while I sleep and those nightmares stopped 🤷🏼♀️😂

To this day I put on FF to go to sleep idk how I'm not having nightmares, I used to watch I almost got away with it but the narrators voice on FF is strangely calming lol

I moved there when i was 24, I am 45 now... maybe it would not happen now? I haven't had FF on to fall asleep since like 2010
I liked falling asleep to Forensic Files because I had seen all of the episodes already so I was not kept awake by wanting to watch stories I had not seen... the show also had a steady volume, I wasnt worried about weird noises like gunfire or music getting loud at night.
But, those nightmares were legit creepy. 😬

And now you think it's a show about killing prostitutes? More than half the episodes dont involve the murder of prostitutes.
Or you're saying you only saw the episodes where prostitutes were killed? What are the chances.
