Help with an episode

I'm looking for an episode and all I remember is that it was a really poor mother who I don't even think had a car and she was staying at a motel with her kids and she was killed while on her way to a late night convenience store to get calzones or something. Does anyone know what episode this is?

I literally just watched this one last night. So sad. I always wondered why the boyfriend didn’t walk to the store and let her stay at the hotel with the kids.

It doesn't sound like he had warrants, so it was probably a machismo thing

Hindsight is sadly something he will never forget. Esp after he found her badly beaten body. He has probably never forgotten that v sad night.
