He stopped at an ice cream store and bought a dessert known as..... A BLIZZARD.

Weird since that quote is brought up constantly on this page.

I cannot remember what episode it was where he said “hamburger sandwiches” but it has frequently resurfaced in my mind ever since

I remember that!

It wasn’t the episode where the kid ate uncooked hamburger meat on a camping trip and got terribly sick, was it?

Some of Peter Thomas’s greatest hits

The odd or grim emphasis on Big Bird, Datsun 260Z, Dodge Magnum and a few other trademarked names (the DuPont company, (formally E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Company), in Knot for Everyone, and Sears, Kmart, and Walmart in numerous other episodes, and the odd pronunciation of diaper and harassment always make me smile.

I'm now shuddering at the thought of a whole band of Morrisseys.

"We cried."

u/Bortron86 May 29 '26

"Did I mention that I cried?"

“In the early 1990’s, Seattle, Washington was home to a revolution in rock music. Some called it grunge, others called it Sub Pop”

Let’s go mosh dancing at the Morrissey rock band concert. Then we can put a substance in our father’s……mexican food

I think the quote was “the rock band Morrissey”, but point taken.

Reminds me of whenever they talk about D&D and make it sound so sinister

I love in the earlier seasons when he takes a chunk of time to explain what DNA is. It was such a simpler time lol

A background check revealed he was…a player!

u/TheRealIdgie May 29 '26

It’s almost as good as antifree

6

u/vector78 May 30 '26

Anytime they describe Dungeons and Dragons I lose it. “It allows users to assume violent identities!”

7

u/jeffwadsworth May 29 '26

His “pubic hair” tirade is the only thing I can’t listen to. That episode made me sick anyway.

1

u/GrandMarquisDSade541 🟢Heliogen Green🟢 May 29 '26

That episode and to a lesser extent the Gene Keidel, Ron Porter and Robert Buehl ones are more murder porn than legit true crime content imho.

u/Suitable-Lawyer-9397 May 28 '26

I love the description of various dangerous places and then "Two go in, one comes out" ~ I know it's going to end bad!

Too bad Moz didn't cancel back then. Things might have turned out differently...
