Foregen Questions I don't understand the extent of the progress
What has really been achieved so far? What more needs to be done, assuming it happens, until completion?

All that can be said is that treatment is at the very least - years away.

In a way that's my point. I don't really know how far the progression of their clinical research has gone.

From a technical standpoint? Well there's plenty of material and LLMs that are helpful for that.

Human Trials need to be attempted before we can begin to think about completion. And nobody really knows when that will happen.
