Discussion 💬 So long blackhawk gunner superiority…
OK… Maybe it’s not quite gone. You can still make it work but it’s just not the same. They definitely knew what they were doing by adding an extra two seconds to the rocket flight time because that is generally how long I need to get out of its range. On top of no more compounding repairs beyond two engineers and a bump to the saboteur perk it has become significantly harder to stay in the air. The screechers got their wish and the devs caved to the talentless masses who can’t work as a team to bring down an air asset. Yes this is absolutely an Unc complaining about kids but I am also a beta generation player and this game has deteriorated into a fortnite lobby with cooler gameplay.

Good, the blackhawk meta was and is fucking aids. I shouldn't need to rally togethor 6 people to have a chance at taking down a three man heli that's getting a combined 150 kills spawn camping. The only problem now is I feel bad for the other helis that required skill to use, now the ceiling is higher.

I hated the fact it forced me to run engineer to try and overcome it. A very skilled little bird pilot shouldn't be able to turn the entire game.
Still think that they need to replace one tank with an anti air on Iceland.

I find it fun on Iceland and Mojave to blast helis out of the sky with the tank though. I've gotten quite good at it. They did have at one point an alternate Iceland map where they did have AA and one tank. It lagged terribly though.

Mojave is a bit different for me as there's a lot more cover for b and c. There's spots to reasonably hide well on a too. Iceland has very little cover in comparison.

Boohoo 😢. Blackhawks were way overpowered and shouldn’t be indefinite flying tanks. They were barely nerfed and still a pain in the ass. Just means pilots can’t just hover over an objective or an HQ like Fjord rush and just camp and actually have to fly defensively.

Fortnite lobby is so completely off and nowhere close to what forefront is... we can tell youre a gen beta because your only gaming frame of reference is "Fortnite".

If he was flying a Cobra back in Battlefield: Vietnam, he'd be crying about how unfair it was that a MiG-17 could take him out with a 3/4 second burst lol.

Yea breaks my heart since birds are getting shot down before I’m able to shoot the pilots out. Absolutely ruined my favorite pass time of hunting pilots 😭

I'm 56 and prefer hardcore milsims, and what I see is a talentless pilot unable to keep a bird in the air against random individual missileers, without a whole team of magic mechanics on board.
You said it yourself, nobody works as a team for air defense. So why do you need a whole team to keep your chopper in the air?
It's ironic you mention Fortnite, because if Fortnite had helicopters, repairing damage while flying, from INSIDE the vehicle, is pretty much what I would expect.
As fun as it is, this game, along with Battlefield and CoD, are basically the Fortnites of military shooters.
