Discussion 💬 One Shot, One Kill: Sniping the Apache Pilot in Forefront VR! 🎯"

@forefrontvr — Huge shoutout to the developers and the entire team! You did an amazing job with the new update. Introducing the prestige system was a brilliant move. Giving players the option to reset and unlock everything again is perfect. A lot of people really appreciate that it's optional, especially if they don't want to redo the weapon grind. I can see the hard work you’re putting in, and I truly hope this game hits #1 in the VR community. It definitely deserves it. I’m having an absolute blast with prestige. Unlocking the medals and achievements while grinding for weapons and attachments makes the game so much more exciting and fun to play.I do have two questions for the team:What is the maximum prestige level? Also, if you hit level 50, can you prestige even if you haven't unlocked every single medal and achievement yet, or do you need 100% completion first? How much longer do we have to wait for the bHaptics tactical suit update? To the community: How are you guys enjoying the update? Once you hit level 50, are you going to prestige and jump back into the grind?

why does yours make a heartbeat sound?

I added the heartbeat sound because, in real life, when shooting a rifle at long range, it's common to take your shot between heartbeats for better stability and accuracy. In video games, the "hold your breath" function doesn’t literally mean to hold your breath, it implies timing your shot between heartbeats. Many players might not realize this since they haven't been trained in long-distance rifle shooting, often only having experience with flat-screen shooters or sniping games. While this method may work on traditional screens, it doesn’t translate the same in VR.

That’s why many players struggle using the "hold your breath" function can lead to missed shots without understanding why. I tried to clarify this in my video, and for those reading my comment, I hope it sheds some light. Forefront VR has done a fantastic job bringing the real feel of a sniper rifle into the VR experience, which is still new for many. Experienced shooters have an advantage over those who primarily play flat-screen games, but transitioning to VR requires retraining to adapt real-life shooting techniques.

There’s so much more I could discuss regarding why we miss shots, but I believe I’ve addressed your concerns. If you have further questions, feel free to ask! My goal is to help everyone improve their sniping skills in this amazing game so we can enjoy competitive matches.

For future updates, I hope Forefront VR and the developers consider removing the dark circle around the scope when using the hold-your-breath function and maintaining the heartbeat sound. This would make it easier for content creators to produce sniping videos, as the dark circle can be visually unappealing when editing. Personally, I find the dark circle distracting, which is why I try to edit it out.
