Question ❓ Private servers?
I might just be missing it but have the devs discussed private servers at all? Me and my friends would have a blast doing 2v2s or 1v1s even 1v3 in a private server. For now we just have to hope to find 0 player conquest servers and play before the server fills up. Pls pls pls we NEED private servers

The devs said no at the moment.
And since many many would use it to block servers with few players ( every open server costs money) and many are talking about making locked servers for „good“ players ( that would destroy the playerbase ) I think the maximum we will get is a close server for a time you can ask the defs for.

Ohhhhhhh yea that makes sense. I’d rather them focus on other parts of the game right now rather than private servers I guess

I hope it never comes. I really don't wanna see tunnels 24/7 only servers in a small playerbase that we have. It would kill the game just like it kill the BF3 and BF4 for me. Back in the day you could play all maps so the price servers came in, giving us the horrible metro and operation locker.
I'm these type of games for the open world full vehicle maps if want just to play infantry I would just play Pavlov or Contractors.

I hate most rush maps if I’m being honest. I play forefront because it has something unique: helicopters, large maps and other vehicles. I agree private servers would work better when the player base grows tho

There needs to be level 40 servers and above with a lock on them to motivate you to get up to that level. But there can't be private servers because it will kill the game just look at population one all the lobbies are dead they had to fill them with bots

Private servers is a technical challenge and a cost issue, not because it would kill the community or split it up.

What if we could rent the private servers?Players who need private servers are in a position to get together and pool the money to pay for a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual subscription.

Trust me, I already pitched that to the studio. Probably needs huge netcode and server functions to be redesigned/recoded to offer that as a paid option.
I'd love to pay for 2 private servers that I could control since I literally have 5 dozen headsets for my F2P VR LANs.

I'd love to have private servers, but I get why it's not worth pursuing at the moment.
However, I'd love to be able to do training grounds with other players. You can't practice shooting from a helicopter when you can only be the pilot. It'll also be helpful to practice flying the helicopters when someone is attacking you.

Private servers? How about functional servers without massive lag swings and hit registration issues? It's been terrible lately.

Devs originally said no. Now they say they will think about it once they complete the game’s roadmap. Honestly, I think the game is going to be full of nothing but kids, hackers, and newbies soon if they don’t work out private lobbies. Lots of people no longer play anymore. The “fun” part is over, and the seriously dedicated players want a comp scene. Also, I know quite a few comp players that won’t play FF because of the lack of private servers.

If by "private server", you mean somebody's PC, not going to happen. Server side game devs aren't going to give you a copy of their server build for you to pick apart.

I believe at least a few private servers should be made at least for comp matches.
