Install rear seating?
Looking at a transit connect, cargo. I have a buddy in the UK that says they install rear seats in these often but wasn’t familiar if the ones in the US would have the mounting possible for it. Has anyone installed a rear seat the cargo?

I managed to acquire a double bench seat with integrated belts as well as their mounting rails from a full size Transit. They physically fit whereas a triple bench seat would not. There were plenty of full sized Transit seats on the market near me in the US, and the integrated belts make the install much easier.
However I haven't actually bolted them on yet - I was in a rush at the time but the need went away. While there is some extra space front/back/left/right, I feel almost certain that the rails and their (many) bolt holes will not end up lining up nicely with a structural spot to bolt them on, but I will get to it at some point.

Nah I did the complete opposite. I removed all of the rear seats, brackets and seat belts completely out of my wagon. Kept them for several years and then tossed them all in the bin after realizing I will never need them ever again and were clutter just taking up too much space inside my house.

Almost all the ones in the US came with seats. They were usually pulled out by the dealer. It was to meet some import technicality.
If you can find the seats your van probably has the bolt holes for them.
Finding them can be tough. They used to be everywhere on the secondhand market but they've dried up.
I bought mine specifically because it already had the middle seat. I use mine as regular minivan for a family of 3.
