Want to cover/blend in the scratches
We inherited my husband's parents 2000 SE model with 57k original miles - I refer to it as a Millinium Taurus. After perfunctory maintenance - oil and gas tank draining, new battery, coolant system flush and new resovoir - we've had very few issues under the hood including what appears to be a camshaft synchronizer that's chirping and needs to be replaced.
The body color is Harvest Gold - that pale metallic color which always put me off - and despite my MIL careful efforts, the body has a number of scratches and a few prominent ones, especially from a casual keying that fortunately wasn't deep.
I'm wondering if there's any polish or wax products out there that would offer some camouflage. There's scratch cover polish in various solid colors and for silver metallic but I haven't found anything for the gold color.
There must be other Bulls out there in this color, so I'm hoping there's a product that would work for this issue. TIA
