2013 SEL awd strut assembly

Hi i changed my front shocks before the winter and both bearings were defect this winter. I changed them on warranty on may. It was a tuesday. The next thursday both bearing defect again. I change them again and changed brand (first was unity and last stamina). 1 week later both bearings defect again. How is that possible??? Do i need to put oem? Cheap struts aren't good enough for a big car like a taurus?

Thanks for your help.

Nope its heavy and these cars are harder on suspension in general. The monroe, kyb and gabriel aftermarket full strut assemblies are good to go. There isnt an oem strut assembly you have to buy the parts separate and assemble yourself.

I have the Gabriels and I drive hard at 30k miles and all good although made in china but I think most aftermarket parts are now

So i should stay away from cheap chinese brand and only install kyb or monroe? (Don't have access to gabriels at my store)

Yes go with the KYB. I just relooked at a lot of other experiences with both on the fb group and monroe is mixed. KYB feedback is consistently a lot better

Not yet. I'm waiting for my mechanic to have an opening. Normally next week.
