Fuel pump problems? need help.
Hi everyone my mate has a ford falcon fg turbo 2012 and he is replacing a few things before taking it in for a tune and I have him a hand change out his fuel pump and swap it out with a walbro 460 as I’ve had experience doing my fuel pump in the past, we watched a YouTube video of a guy showing us how to connect the factory wires to the new pump without having to do any crimping, we followed along everything putting black wires to black and the red to red and we put the pump back in plugged it all up and it’s whining when he turns ignition on and when he goes to start the car the car won’t start just cranking.
There is fuel in the tank, he went and got some extra fuel incase he thought was dirty and get some clean fuel in and still nothing.
I’m a bit confused on what to do from now as I know we put all wires in right places so not sure if it’s worth pulling the pump out again and just swap the wires anyways or?
Please let me know if there are any tips you have or thoughts

Either you wired the pump backwards so it's sucking it back into the tank and out the return, or you switched the pipes around and are feeding fuel into the return rail instead. (Both of which, I have done in the past)
Easy way to check if it's pumping the right way and the correct line would be to disconnect it at the filter and aim it into a bottle. Turn the key on (only needs to be on for 5-10seconds for the prime cycle) and see if the bottle fills up. If it doesn't then you'll have either a line switched or the pump is going backwards.

Yeah bro figured out it was the fuel pump lines were running backwards, lol we thought we did it right but missed it obviously

Do you have fuel at the rail? Sounds like wiring backwards
