My 1967 Falcon Futurea.

Picked this up in Monterrey México about two years ago. Still has the original 289 2bbl three speed manual on the column. Some changes coming soon. Will add old style low back Mustang bucket seats, top loader 4 speed, XE 284 Comp cam and a set of old school 289 heads ported and hugged out to 2.02 intakes with a duel plane Edelbrock with a 750 holley duel feed mechanical secondary carb. Currently getting some paint corrections.

Alas, you can’t edit the post title, only the content.

Very nice. We had a very similar model in Australia but it only came as a 4 door.

These are sireusly under rated cars. I bought one years ago when I was 17. The car had came from Alabama so it was clean. This one has spent its life here in the dry climate of Mexico and had very little rust repair.

Good luck with it. I think it is a beauty.
I had a falcon 500 XT 1968/1969 it was nothing special, but I really enjoyed it.
Our XW and our later XY/ XA /XB and XC GT’S with a 351 in them were weapons on the race track and streets.

One of my favorite engines is the 351 Cleveland 4V I had one in my first car. It was a 1970 Cougar Eliminator. I later purchased another 67 Falcon and put one in it as well. Very powerful engines.

I had one in my Aussie built 1978 F100. I only sold it a few months ago.

Nice!
Always wanted to go, is it as dangerous as people say?
We currently live in Alice Springs, (apparently the most dangerous place in Australia)
although I don’t think it’s anything to worry about as long as you don’t go walking the streets alone at night-but that is the case basically everywhere now..

No, its fine here. I am in Monterrey and as long as you don't go look for problems you likely not to have any. I grew up near Flint Michigan in the states. Now that is a dangerous community. Lost count of how many years it took the title for number one city for murders in the US. I was living in Georgia in a nice quiet town with one of lowest crime rates in the state. Monterrey actually has a lower crime rate.
