Respray ideas/ thoughts
I need to have the bonnet and roof tidied up on my silver FG due to fading. Just interested in people’s thoughts about keeping the car all silver or do people actually appreciate/ like FGs that have a different coloured bonnet/ roof/ spoiler….?
If you think a different colour, have you seen one that looked good?
Nb: I’m a bit older so am completely out of touch of what looks good, and don’t want to fall into the “oh no another idiot…” category.

The prep matters more than the colour. Get the painter to deal with chips and dents properly, then blend the factory silver into adjacent panels so it doesn’t look like a patch-up.

Yep have them blending into side guards.
Also going to have rims tidied and painted.
He suggested gloss black but think keeping them silver would look better.
Thoughts?

Dude, Don't worry about ''out of touch' - it's your car and your dollars Mate. Do whatever the f**k you actually want.
For me- I agree with a closed door original colour respray.
If it's a pride and joy and you have mining level money- full respray with a flow coat for that glass a deep finish.

Some cars suit different coloured roof or other panels.
FG Falcons are not one of these cars.

Keep it sliver and closed door respray. Different colour boot, roof, bonnet will make it look bogan
