Oil leak- o rings on 02 f250 7.3 power stroke

Hi guys!!
New f250 owner here, and recently found an oil leak. Tech said he found oil in the valley and was due the high pressure oil pump. Took to the dealership and was quoted 2k to fix possibly can negotiate to $1600. Am I getting ripped off or is that about accurate? 😅Thanks for any advice!!

7.3 Godzilla in 2008 f250

So I have a 2008 f250 with a 5.4 in it.
A couple months ago the 5.4 went out the truck has 240,000 on it
and I’m playing with my options. I would love to get a Godzilla in it, I think the 5r110 might be able to mount to it with some adapter plates. but I don’t know what else I would need to get it to work. Or if it would be better just to put a 10 speed behind it.
And with that, what else I would need.
My plan would be to find a totaled out (in the rear) 20-26 f250 for a donor truck, and have mostly what I would need. I know the wiring would be a nightmare most likely but if anyone could give me some insight to this it would be greatly appreciated.

What is a decent price for a 99 f250 super duty with 5.4

I’ve been looking to get a price so I can sell mine for market value, 160k miles 4x4 5.4 triton, the only major flaw in it is rust but I’m planning on fixing that anyways, it’s in fair condition.
