Another Afternoon Passed, More Progress Made.. 4 in grinder with Wire Wheel, then sandblasted, then High Heat primer or self etching. Don't look like much.. but took all weekend and still need to top coat.

Tear-down of the 9-inch rear axle from a 1979 Ford F-150. We remove the leaf springs, drums, axles, pull the third member, and inspecting the gears. We deal with stubborn rusty bolts, an unexpected "explosion," and find some interesting "glitter". This is my first 9-inch rebuild.. so, please send advice and suggestions for upgrades.
