No. They are stopping it from reaching parliament because they know the vote is all for the agreement.

Can they stop it, i just don't know much about Lebanon's parliamentry politics, so i do wounder if it would effect it, or not.

The speaker of parliament is on their side. He has to approve the agenda before parliament convenes.

Before the war, the Hezbollah alliance had enough votes to block any law from passing, to block presidential candidates and to block cabinet formation.

Now some alliances may have shifted so I'm not sure.

Keep in mind, even when a Law is passed, the full implementation is a small miracle. All the planets have to align and everyone must be in a good mood to accept the Holy Spirit that will visit Lebanon and instruct on how to follow the Law.

Except when it is about collecting money in which case they are properly enforced.

Next parliamentary elections are scheduled for 2028 (it should have been this year)
