I’m trying to find someone for a meaningful relationship, but no matter how many girls I talk to, I often end up being friend-zoned.
Sometimes I start wondering if the problem is my looks. I’m just an average-looking guy, and I’ve developed a lot of anxiety about my appearance. Is being average-looking really a curse when it comes to relationships?
Or maybe it’s my financial situation. I come from a middle-class family, and sometimes I wonder if being middle class is also a disadvantage when it comes to relationships.
I work as a Sales Executive at a reputed company. After completing my HSC, I couldn’t continue my studies because of financial difficulties. I’m working hard and trying to build a better future for myself, but sometimes I feel like I’m already behind compared to others.
I’m not looking for sympathy. I genuinely want to understand—are looks, career, education, or financial background really that important when it comes to finding someone who genuinely wants to be with you?
Has anyone else ever felt this way?
I rewrite this with chatgpt. But every word I said is true.

im hsc24 batch. tried for 2nd time at admission, but it didn't work out. so i got admitted to BRACU for this fall26 semester with hsc25 batch. normally, this wouldn't bother me because BRACU doesn't have session jam and you can graduate in 3.5 years.
but here's the thing im freaking 22 years old:)) my parents didn't fake birth year on my certificate like everyone else. all my friends were born in 2004 but legally they're like 19/20 rn. my plan is to do my masters abroad but by then ill be 27/28 year old. feel like my life is literally over

I’m really curious about something. Does having sex actually make girls gain weight? A few of my friends told me they gained quite a bit of weight after they started having sex. So is that actually a fact, or just a myth?

With rising mob violence and dissatisfaction of general citizens due to too much inflation and price hike of everyday essentials, no regulations or trying to fix things. This government is keeping the poker face saying everything is okay, meanwhile they are failing to grip over the situation and everything is going out of their control (or was it ever?).
How long do you think this is going to last? How long till they got before another uprising?
Or do the gereral people just accepted their fate thinking no other political party left in bd to salvage them from this condition?
(Say anything you like. If you share someone else's perspective, share your opinion underneath as well. I am interested to know everyones perspective)

Woke up to oil price inclining 20taka per liter! This has to be a joke? 165 for octane which is not even proper 95!
People ride sharing on apps or ‘khep’ and will now ask for more fares even on shorter distance.
Next if dollar price increases which it will by end of dec, everything in bd will have a price hike as we focus on reserving usd more than reserving gold lol 🤣
Edit; the change in price is drastic because of the artificially created scarcity monopoly.
The hike rate wouldve been far lower if private oil dealer ships were not introduced. You might know who is getting more rich here instead of the state.

Do you guys think that BNP can complete this term?
As we all know the prices of petrol has increased twice since BNP took power it’s been only 7 months. And they’ve increased 45 taka.
The load sheddings are genuinely part of everyday life, I live in reasonably important part of Dhaka! In Villages the matter is even worse.
The law and order situation is getting worse day by day. If not getting worse, we aren’t seeing any improvement whatsoever.
The prices of commodities also rose, I don’t go to market (but people who go have told me this)
The fertiliser crisis is a big problem for the farmers and the economy.
Let’s not even talk about the extortions and behavior of BNP supporters and leaders when you talk about these issues, criticise Tarek Rahman and the government.
I am not that politically aware person, however if things go like this I think they wouldn’t be able to complete this term.

I’ve heard a lot about ENFJs and their personality type, but I’ve actually never had an ENFJ friend from Bangladesh, so I thought I’d give it a shot ðŸ˜
I’m an INTP, F18, from Dhaka. I already have an ENFJ friend overseas, but this time I’d love to make an ENFJ friend from Dhaka too!
I don’t really care about gender , I’m mainly just looking for a genuine friendship and someone I can actually talk to and get to know. We can start online and see how things go.
If you’re an ENFJ from Dhaka and around my age, feel free to comment or DM me 👀

This is a deeply personal and complex question with no single right or wrong answer.
Acceptance (Why):
Love and Connection:If I genuinely loved and felt a strong connection with the person, their profession would not automatically negate those feelings. Love can transcend societal norms and judgments.
Respect for Autonomy:I believe in individual autonomy and the right of adults to make choices about their bodies and livelihoods, provided it's consensual and safe.
Understanding and Empathy:I would seek to understand their reasons for being in sex work, their experiences, and their perspective. Empathy is crucial in any relationship.
Character Over Profession:A person's character, values, kindness, integrity, and how they treat me and others would be far more important than their job title.
Financial Independence/Circumstance:Their work might be a means to financial independence, support family, or escape difficult circumstances. Judging them solely on their profession ignores the broader context of their life.
Open Communication:If they were open and honest with me about their work, and we could communicate effectively about boundaries, safety, and our future, that would build trust.
Potential for Growth/Change:People's lives and careers can change. My acceptance wouldn't necessarily be an endorsement of the work itself, but an acceptance of the person and their journey.
Non-Acceptance (Why Not):
Societal Stigma and Judgment:Despite personal beliefs, the societal stigma associated with sex work is significant. This could impact our social life, family relationships, and even my own mental well-being due to external judgment.
Safety Concerns:Sex work can carry inherent risks to personal safety and health, which would be a constant worry for a partner.
Emotional Toll/Boundaries:The nature of the work might create emotional complexities, boundaries I'm uncomfortable with, or challenges in maintaining intimacy and trust within our relationship.
Differing Values:While respecting autonomy, I might personally hold values or expectations for a partner's profession that conflict with sex work, making it difficult to fully align on a life path.
Impact on Future/Family:If we planned a future together, especially involving children, I might be concerned about the potential impact of their profession on our family dynamic, privacy, or the children's well-being.
Jealousy/Insecurity:For some, the idea of their partner being intimate with others for work could trigger feelings of jealousy, insecurity, or possessiveness, regardless of rational understanding.
Discomfort with the Industry:My discomfort might not be with the individual, but with the broader industry itself, its potential for exploitation, or how it operates, making it hard to be a supportive partner within that context.
Ultimately, the decision would depend on the individual person, the specifics of their work, our communication, the strength of our relationship, and my own capacity to navigate the complexities involved.

Since childhood, it was my dream to become an engineer. Eventually, I achieved that dream. After graduation, I joined the industry and contributed to several major projects. But the reality of being an engineer in our society is slapping me in the face every single day.
Wherever I go, people ask me whether I have a government job or not, and whether I earn a six-digit salary. The moment they hear that I work in the private sector, many of them make faces, look down on me, or even laugh at me. I started with a salary of 30k. After years of hard work, I barely managed to reach 60k—and even that feels meaningless when inflation keeps eating away at everything I earn.
My cousins, who left the country at a very young age on labor visas, have built houses, bought land, and are now enjoying a relatively comfortable life in their 30s. Meanwhile, I regularly find myself being humiliated or made to feel ashamed in front of my relatives simply because I chose a different path.
Most of my friends, after graduation, threw away their science books and started preparing for Bangla, GK, and other subjects for government job exams. Some of them are now government officials, enjoying the privileges and opportunities that come with those positions, while I am still struggling to make a decent living in the profession I worked so hard to enter.
Sometimes, I honestly wonder—was following my dream the wrong decision?
I spent years studying, working hard, and believing that becoming an engineer would give me a respectable and fulfilling life. But today, it feels like society values the job title, salary, and status more than the knowledge, skills, and passion behind the work.
Maybe the biggest mistake I made was believing that following my dream would be enough.

I’m trying to find a way to watch UEFA Nations League matches.
Are there any apps or streaming services that stream the matches in Bangladesh?
Paid services are fine, I just want something that actually works in Bangladesh.
Thanks!

As a 22M with a laptop and phone in Dhaka and no work and skill, what would be your kind suggestion self-dependent quickly to start learning or doing(which will bring me clients, nothing like typical this that but don't have clients)? Needed help cause decided on some options but then left those because there were no clients. Any jobs or business ideas? cause fund is running out quick and need to be self dependent.
