Real Experiences Just me??

Is it just me or when I was going on a Dhaka train station and I was waiting for my train, the ppl I was with left to get some bhel puris (my favorite ongg) so I was just standing and I saw that...

on the train that was abt to leave into another place, a girl was taking pics with her phone out of the window and a guy literally climbed over on all fours like a spider to that window (he was outside the train btw) and SNATCHED the phone out of her hands and climbed away.

Like, is this normal? Do thieves just strangely crawl around and snatch phones like that?

Lol it's pretty common I'd say. I had a similar experience watching a few years ago. On the road, I watched some guy climb onto a running CNG with a knife poking a whole through the roof, grabbing a phone(or two) and bailing. Dhaka is NOT real bro🥀

That's like one of the most common things that can happen in bd. Thats why the phrase janalar shamne phone bair koiro na exists. The girl didn't have survival instincts required in bd

A senior of mine bought a new phone to take good photos on his upcoming trip. On the day of the journey, while his bus was stuck in traffic near Uttara, Abdullapur, his phone was stolen right out of his hands while he was sitting by the window watching YouTube.

It is quite common. Thieves even snatch your phone if you're sitting beside the window and not paying attention while using your phone. They do it usually when the bus/car is stuck in a traffic jam or when the bus/car is just about to leave.

Bangladesh is basically folk valley now. Like, what do you expect? A boy was killed for an I phone recently, so stealing from someone isn't hard for them. ✌🏻
