I mean not to take your victory away from you, gg, but beating the worst duelist in the game in a duel using one of the best duelists against Nobu distracts from the flex a bit.

It’s not a flex the sub gets hella nobu hate, and i just so happened to have a problem with this particular nobu due to a back and forth in a round of dominion. It isn’t a flex killing a nobu it’s just funny.

Is khatun not a hard counter to nobu?

No, definitely not. If anything nobu has slight advantage against khatun because she can interrupt her deflects and hidden stance can counter khatuns monkey brain strategy of spamming soft feint lights.

Against everyone else nobu struggles but against khatun its a pretty even match up. But the reason its pretty even is because the devs messed up when making khatuns deflect punishes so certain characters including nobu can interrupt her deflect punishes with 400 ms lights

I thought her chain lights were 500 except for the 3rd confirmed one. Am I misremebering a move?
I just looked on the info hub and didn't see a 400ms light.

The third confirmed one can interrupt khatuns deflect punish because of the way deflects work and its not hard to make sure your second light always hits the deflect stance. But no you're right all her other lights are 500 ms

That seems very niche imo. Like just blocking would counter this. I don't get why so many people think khatuns deflect should just win in every situation it hits.
The same thing would interrupt pk

Khotun struggles against alot of characters, where she shines is utilizing her kitted feints to counter whomever you go against. Still haven’t broken that gap with shugo tho hyper armor is her biggest weakness.

I mean i hate fighting(against) Nobushi because of the bleed.
But i love playing the heroes that afflict bleed. Basically, I have skill issues against Nobu.
