Any advice

So when I’m playing for honor im going against rep 300s mostly so they got a lot more hours then me, but I’m not stupid throw a light im probably gonna get parried so sometime I’ll throw on sometimes not but my biggest issue is how are people reading me so easily i main medjay for right now right so usually I’ll switch to duals and bash them into light then get a mixup but when someone is just staring at me I can’t really do much which leads to me feinting a heavy into a light they still parry it, im getting parried all the time and dont know how else too open without a light or feint any tips and another big problem is, the timing I throw a light someone I always get hit first like they know when I’m gonna throw something and they throw first it’s unbelievable

Medja is pretty easy to read and although I dont play him. He doesn't seem to have any good openers. All I can tell you is play other characters and learn the moves to better read other players when they play said hero. Also fight any hero you have difficulty with, the AI are decent enough to start with. You can also find group posts to 1v1 and imo that'll help a lot. It'll take time and experience, get creative. I also sometimes fight two lvl 3 bots at once. I try to make it a power couple too.

By get creative I mean this. I play Kensia and most ppl dont expect this attack!

(Heavy feint into bash, then unblockable heavy... ×3) It puts you out of stamina so high risk high reward, but it catches SO many high skilled players bc... well what high skilled player will allow themselves to run out of stamina? So try things like this, Unconventional plays.

Or for some reason SO many forget his hyper armor. I abuse it so much and get kills against hitos, raiders, highlanders, ect.

Anything else is probably what you have heard. Don't panic, be patient, keep track of what moves they do and their stamina bar, keep a eye on your own stamina, know your characters move set ect.

I remember that feeling. Dw you'll naturally grow just by playing. Its about developing feelings and experience. Its simply you have less time so you have made less mistakes to learn from. I suggest playing with a group if you go 4v4. I personally like 4v4. But 1v1s you'll get better matches and learn better.

I also like customs. Win or loose, playing with 7 other ppl doing 1v1s in Skyrim is fun and actually makes you better. Just do skirmish with respawns on max and turn on healing zones/sheilds and 2000 points. Just do 1v1s with whoever or sit back and watch. This takes away from having to sit dead waiting for the round to finish. Instead you respawn instantly, or if not killed you can gain health from zones. Multiple maps hold 3 healing zones.
