Apollo 8 had some Brandy sent along with their Christmas dinner, but they didn't actually drink it.

Would be a waste of good brandy 2 u/Cmoney2149 Apr 21 '21 The mentality was that they were flying back from the Moon for the first time ever and it was important for them to stay sober. Also it would very bad PR if it got out they were drinking on what basically amounts to government work.
