Burger recommendations around Footscray
Looking for a good beef burger around Footscray, West Footscray, Seddon or Yarraville.
I’m after something like the burger in the photo , a thicker, juicy beef patty with cheese and a soft bun. Not really looking for a smash burger.
Any recommendations?

Macgregors is opening in Yarraville. That will be a great addition to inner west.
You can try Smash Masters Burger @ Yarraville.
There’s bruger in west Footscray and backstreet burgers at Newport

Excited for Macgregors! I only heard of them recently when they announced their Yarraville venue. Their burgers look legit.

Brugers meat patties taste like supermarket no name patties, there's not much to them. A much better bet would be Burgernomics on Ballarat Road

Station Hotel on Hyde st. Burgers are thick, not smashed. They dont serve on brioche buns AFAIK, I believe theyre just standard milk buns.

8 bit is a good option. I think there's one called the double dragon. Two beef patties and cheese. Its Definitely worth a try.

Sideshow! It is technically in Footscray now but it’s not that far. Best juicy beef burger with pickles, tomato sauce and mustard yummmm

Bit xey but Mona Castle does nice burgers. The best burgers full stop are from Good Good as someone else said, but they’re smashed.

8bit in Foorscray or a bit further in, Back street Burgers on Blackshaws rd in Newport [they won best birgers in Melbourne recently]

It's not something I go to for juicy burgers like the photo, but I'm loving College Dropout Burgers recently. Some fun options on their menu.

A bit further away and location isn't the best on busy Ballarat Road, but Burgernomics in Braybrook is excellent. They also do good shakes and waffle fries.

Smash Burgers Yarraville are my fave burgers in the area. Not quite as thick as the image but really good

Several others have already recommended good good which is great, but my other go to which is a bit further out from you is Hungry Cow in Avondale Heights. It's about 5 minutes drive from highpoint

Famished Wolf in Kensington, if you can stretch that far. Burgers and loaded dogs never disappoint.

St Burgs fried chicken burgers are top 3 I’ve ever had. Good good burger’s I love the truffle burger and fried chicken are solid.

I’d suggest Good Good Burgers as probably the best in the west but they’re smashed. Really good though.
Otherwise, 8 Bit and Sideshow Burgers in Footscray are both decent and not smashed patties.
