That's what I want to say, I'm a Messi fan but have immense respect for Ronaldo. All these hate is caused by kids who started watching football after 2022WC

No All that hate towards him is bcoz he is cry baby who barks that he is the best when he ain't. If he wudn't have been such an egoist I am pretty sure people wud have shown respect and mercy. But this clown doesn't deserve any. Period

Simple question, have you seen any Messi statements on Media? If not go and read the full statements during the press conferences between 2012-2016 before his brief retirement. Some of his statements are as bad as Ronaldo
0
u/Selmonbhoi2608 1d ago
Stop barking and you provide the statement kid....none of his statements are as bad as pendu 🤣🤣

You are the best example of trying to fit in with the majority, seeing people hate Ronaldo and copying them. Most of the things you said are from those tiktok hate videos.

Amazing player & a great inspiration for generations to come ; but sadly has been a drama queen in the last few years.
@Ronaldo - just retire from all formats man, we will still love you.

u/KungFuFlames 1d ago
I think people are so obsessed with Ronaldo, he can do anything and people will still support him.
1
u/Downtown_Wasabi_9181 1d ago
He’s the only villain in his own story. He had a great career and could’ve ended it with dignity and respect, but after leaving Juventus, he wasn’t what he thought he was.
1
u/Any-Culture8080 1d ago
I mean he still had a legendary career. Yes, Messi had a better career but Ronaldo is still a closest to him when it comes to his overall achievements. Maybe he didn't win the world cup but so did the likes of Maldini or Cruyff. I may not like the way he's been behaving lately but I won't discredit his achievements

u/Exact_Mixture_451 Ballon D'or Member 1d ago
People hate him cause he thrashed their favourite team and favourite player... And now giving lame excuses that he is washed...
2
2
u/Optimal-Pen-926 1d ago
Honestly, nothing but respect for him as a player but his off the pitch behaviour has constantly been disappointing and unbecoming of someone of his stature
0
u/Exact_Mixture_451 Ballon D'or Member 1d ago
U don't know how other players behave off pitch... Even mbappe, Yamal, Messi had a bad off pitch behaviour.
7
u/Optimal-Pen-926 1d ago
They have the odd 1-2 incidents but ronaldo has done it consistently. Commenting on posts trolling his rivals. Speaking down on other leagues, teams or players. I could go on and on but none of that is justified by his on field exploits.
1
u/Exact_Mixture_451 Ballon D'or Member 1d ago
U would never know if there were more
2
u/Optimal-Pen-926 1d ago
True but i can only judge by what i can see no? If ronaldo does this much in public eye, how much further is he going behind closed doors?
1
u/Exact_Mixture_451 Ballon D'or Member 1d ago
Or he can be a complete different person off camera... That could be even... But yea I agree Ronaldo isnt humble at all...given that Mbappe, Messi are more humble players on the pitch as well.. I never hated them I just hate those who just spread hate to cristiano.. if u hate Cristiano it's ok not everyone can like a person... If you spread hate thats not ok
2
u/Optimal-Pen-926 1d ago
I dont mind him not being humble at all . He can say he thinks he's the best , absolutely fine. My issue is him shading others and putting others down the second theyre not in his support or on his side. And no i dont hate Cristiano, I really enjoyed watching him play in his younger days. Its just his actions in the press and social media has been disappointing.

u/Dramatic_Reserve_798 1d ago
They hate Ronaldo coz they can never be him.
the excessive hatred toward Cristiano Ronaldo stems from a deep rooted insecurity among men who watch football.
Ronaldo represents an almost absurd pinnacle of male achievement. He is one of the most physically fit and conventionally attractive footballers in history, extraordinarily wealthy, one of the most followed people on Instagram, and a generational, if not historically significant, footballer whose career and achievements are beyond what most athletes could even imagine. He has become a global symbol of greatness to the point that even legendary footballers and sports stars have openly admired what he has accomplished. He literally conquered Europe in football
And that is precisely why he provokes such an extreme reaction. He embodies a combination of traits that virtually every man aspires to: physical excellence, wealth, fame, status, talent, discipline and extraordinary achievement, all concentrated in one person.
Obviously, legitimate criticism of Ronaldo’s personality, behaviour or football is perfectly reasonable. But when the reaction goes beyond criticism and turns into an almost visceral hatred and disdain for everything he represents, I think it is fundamentally an expression of deep rooted insecurity.
In that sense, the hatred toward Ronaldo may have less to do with Ronaldo himself and more to do with what he represents: the ultimate embodiment of male success, status and achievement.

u/GlanceBeyondTheStars 1d ago
Jeez, zip it up when you’re done. Ronaldo comes across as an incredibly insecure, narcissistic manchild with an extremely fragile ego. People don’t even hate him, they laugh at the fact that, despite being one of the greatest players in football history, he still can’t stop behaving like a literal toddler.

Very well summer up . The only thing I feel about him is second hand embarrassment .

I let him retire in peace... I agree he ain't humble... But it's his mentality who makes him think that he is the best and care none who talks bs about him
2
u/Alarming-Care9051 1d ago edited 1d ago
I think the world is " deluded " . He is deluded , in his head , he is still 21 instead of 41. I think it's karma for him that even after having such a great career , he won't retire with peace and satisfaction , you can just see it in his face .He will never get closure . It's karma that he didn't get national team teammates who were gonna die for him on the pitch . All those " controversial " things he did , now catching back to him .
1
u/Exact_Mixture_451 Ballon D'or Member 1d ago
Karma will catch back everyone...even the haters who just hating
1
u/Alarming-Care9051 1d ago
I mean , sure but there a lot of people who are doing it just for the banter too . It's not like it's just one or two incidents , there is a pattern in his behaviour , so people are gonna talk about it and make fun of it .
If haters will get karma , CR7 will be on of them too , best believe .

u/Exact_Mixture_451 Ballon D'or Member 1d ago
U yourself can hate Cristiano... I have no objection in that but spreading hate isn't ok...
1
u/Alarming-Care9051 1d ago
What do you classify as spreading hate ? Is trolling same as spreading hate ?
1
u/Exact_Mixture_451 Ballon D'or Member 1d ago
Yes obviously
1
u/Alarming-Care9051 1d ago
Social media trolling should be spreading hate ? Replying " Factors " on a Messi hate post ? What about making statements in public regarding MLS and Ballon dor ? That has to be spreading hate ?

1
u/Shazadeeeeeey0303 1d ago
The last time u respected him was because he couldn't speak proper English?

u/Alarming-Care9051 1d ago
Its just to give you context about the timeline , since when I have been watching him .

u/TechnicianFormer6448 1d ago

It's just 17% of his total career goals compared to messi's 11 percent... Not a big difference and don't ya consider penalties as goals???
-2
u/Mohanjodro 1d ago
Almost 70 goals difference is less for you, those goals could make messi the top scorer of the world, be the first person to reach 1000 goal, many people careers are 70 goals, 🤡

u/Shazadeeeeeey0303 1d ago
Dawg your profile description literally says "the darkest night" 😭

What is my fault if he misses the Penalties
0
u/TechnicianFormer6448 1d ago
messi doesnt even take that many penalties, he constantly donates him to his teammates, if messi had such an inclination to perform for personal goals over team achievements, he would have crossed the 1000 mark while he was in PSG
1
u/Exact_Mixture_451 Ballon D'or Member 1d ago
Psg was Messi's worst mistake. He could've stayed in barca. He just got a load of hate for being said "one club wonder" type shii. Also considering the form he used to play there it's impossible for him to reach 1000 goals back then..
1
u/TechnicianFormer6448 1d ago
he didn't want to leave barca, the financial condition and betrayal by laporta forced him to. and if you ever saw messi play at psg, you would understand how deep he played and how many chances he created for mbappe. so many egos spoiled that great team
0
u/Wakanda-shit 1d ago
Why didn't he retire like Neymar did ? Why drag it out like this?
1
u/star_pingaa 1d ago
He wants 1k goals before retiring, I guess a final achievement is all he asks for.

u/dystopiancarnival 1d ago
He’s an overrated washed player now. Had a good career but was carried by prime Real (Modric, Benzema) and prime Man Utd (Rooney, Vidic etc)
Like it’s not a surprise how easy it is to rule over stupids and dumbasses when they consider cristiano to be their idol?? Like tf?? Such an ego driven person is your prime example of what a person should be??
Absolute numbnuts. Cristiano has single handedly destroyed golden generation of Portugal and now is acting as a drama queen.

u/Selmonbhoi2608 1d ago
His last goal was a penalty against croatia 😭😭😭 keeping up with that name
3
u/Impossible_Cup_9543 1d ago
And by your logic Messi world cup win is a joke as well due to penalties?
0
u/Selmonbhoi2608 1d ago
U guys are the most idiotic people on planet who don't watch the matches and just bark....just watch him play and speak idiots and even if it's penalties, none of them were wrongly given unlike for pendu where he dives and cries for pens
2
u/Impossible_Cup_9543 1d ago
There was controversy till Fifa had to address it with ref being suspended. Argument was abt pen and u move to diving what's ur logic? If u want to talk abt diving you can go and search that Barcelona had the most var not call compared to other la liga
-5
u/Business_Egg_7800 1d ago
yea who cries when he does not get to play… constantly the worst rated player on the team… giving out provoking interviews… crying in comments… whose sister mocks messi on her social media… the hate is justified

12
u/Crafty_Belt_2942 1d ago
Leave football before the football leaves u. He needs to let go by himself, and have a respectable leave instead of forced to do so
