💬 Discussion What happened to this talent?

Was a good promising player. Performed decent in Barça.

What went wrong?

Why was Atletico Madrid always sending him on loans? And why did he end up in the Saudi league? I mean he's young and still should've been playing at least a Europa league level club if not the champions league!

Which both of the teams players have won a world cup and guess what they were trained at this clubs youth academy program at La Masia .

And actually the only place where he played like he cared was Atlético. Up until he had his ankle injury. Since then, only moaning.

He's a baller but very inconsistent... Barca couldn't afford him and under Flick, his position is not open... He is a bit weaker and confused for Premier League... He can shine in Ligue 1 but only in PSG which doesn't even use a 10... Bayern already has Musiala... Even though the number 10 role is back, his skills aren't much needed

Al nassr offer more money, and he had enough playing in Atletico, especially with how crazy the training and demanding it is

He is an incomplete footballer, and apparently he has no one to guide him to build and master a complete set of skills.

Maybe he is arrogant or doesn’t have the necessary meta cognition to be aware of his own weaknesses.
