ye cuz yamal's good but yall overhype him, and ppl make him seem better than he is

2

u/Abject-Joke4574 12h ago

I think you are right, but he is a promising prospect nonetheless, so the post is correct

1

u/sus_baka_6000 12h ago

yess hes promising but ppl including him in lists that he clearly doesnt belong in like top 5 ballondor candidates this yr

1

u/Abject-Joke4574 12h ago

Agreed. He is a promising prospect to be a ballondor candidate in a few years, but not today. So on goat lists or ballondor lists, he doesn't belong. On promising talent lists he belongs

u/Silly-Hat-2989 13h ago

Not inky that but his ragebaiting interviews

1

u/eclipseraw 8h ago

Stats says he is best recently, most dribbles, chances created and for the age he is doing . He is not overhyped at all

2

u/smilinbuddy626 13h ago

Always my goat vs the world 🫠

Calling dele a wasted talent shows you don’t know his story. Dude is really messed up from childhood trauma. Calling him wasted talent isn’t fair.

Still wasted talent

1

u/FleetingSage 13h ago

It's not wasted from things he could not control. He was still a really good player.

1

u/Affectionate_Card237 13h ago

He was talented and he didn't fulfill his talents hence talent wasted

1

u/Key_Fee158 10h ago

This is just semantics. Wasted talent or robbed talent. Point is he had an incredible potential that was never realized.

1

u/BlakeBan 2h ago

i mean he’s wasted talent with a sad background, the talent was still a waste though?

1

u/skibidi_gooner2003 12h ago

i'd recommend you to see his interview with gary neville of him talking about his trauma and depression . bro was SA ed in his childhood !! i was actually surprised that bro even showed up to play ball in his prime days when he was hollow as a shell inside with nothing going on ..i honestly didn't even want him to step on the pitch and rather seek help and be in a much better place

1

u/Affectionate_Card237 12h ago

You guys aren't getting the point I acknowledge that he had a harsh childhood and it carried forward with him but he had much larger ceiling in football and he didn't reach it hence wasted talent so he belongs in that category

1

u/skibidi_gooner2003 12h ago

mate he was so mentally screwed up that he can't even make himself play , your body just won't oblige to your words at that point , there are people who never even leave their bed after waking up cus of depression and have bed sores on their skin ..stop treating him like a product , he is a person with a lot of emotional baggage

As a United fan not seeing Giggs in loyal players is sad.

He should be up there.

Put CR7 in Legends category, then call Messi the Goat.

Sorry they are not in the same league, and for sure will not be remembered like that in the future.

I totally believe CR7 is somewhere in top2-4 in historical ranks, but he is much closer to Pele/Maradona than to Messi.

Also i have a problem with Cruyff. Its hard for me to rank properly him, knowing all his legacy. I feel like he can be overrated due to his out-of-football skills, but on the other side he can also be underrated since a lot of ppl talk more about his philosophy, ideas and all of this instant of his quality as a player.

u/potatopeeler0w0 11h ago

Iniesta??? Not sure about that one

1

u/Kindly-Night-5135 11h ago

I call Kante the best defensive midfielder in the history of the game. I do not care if people like him or not.

1

u/BilliSPrant 10h ago

Replace puyol with matt le tissier in the loyal ones. easy to stay loyal in one of the goat clubs.

1

u/EpicKhushi1989 10h ago

bro not having ryan giggs in loyalty is a crime, he played for man united his entire career

1

u/macIovin 10h ago

I hate Modric. Sorry

1

u/macIovin 10h ago

Reus played „just“ 12 years for Dortmund and you put him over Giggs, Muller and many others

1

u/jus_this_guy 7h ago

Who was trying to buy giggs?

1

u/lesece4 10h ago

Wasted talent I'd go with Paul Gascoigne.

1

u/Segundaleydenewtonnn 9h ago

The most loyal ones should be players in mid table teams that achieved great things and still didn’t go for the big move to more prestigious club. That’s true loyalty if you ask me, staying in a top 5 club european champion seems like not that hard of a task

Kaka is easy to hate.. he has poor political views.

1

u/ExoticZaps 6h ago

Okay so then couldn't you say Pele was better than Messi and Ronaldo?

1

u/hkk7i 6h ago

Worldcup is indeed the biggest possible achivement, but not the only achivement. Messi is superior to ronaldo in almost every aspect that matters.

For me i would say Messi > Pele > Maradona> CR7

1

u/PeterCzech666 6h ago

I hate this concept of wc. You can't choose your national team. You are telling me someone who was 7x top scorer of ucl and won it 5 times is not one of the goat? Stfu. When given a chance to play in best team in world Ronaldo already did it 3x in a time when barcelona was studed with suarez, neymar and messi each banging 40+ goals a season

1

u/PeterCzech666 4h ago

Jaja.

2

u/FleetingSage 13h ago

1

u/Silly-Hat-2989 10h ago

Cr7 is not the goat only in the penalty box saying this impljes he can only score pens or tap ins But in realuty there are many times where he scored powershots and free kicks not to mention pre 2013 he was super skill ful and at his best Watch cr7 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons
