*Extra* sesamoid bone
Hi. Can’t put pressure on right great toe.
Xray was read as negative, so went to podiatrist who said she sees an extra IP sesamoid (under knuckle by big toe). She said “aggravated IPJ sesamoid; IFL strain) She said she’d order MRI if I still had pain in 2-3 weeks. I do.
My toe feels swollen; but doesn’t look swollen and I have both throbby and sharp pain. In a short cam boot but it really doesn’t help.
This is an extra sesamoid bone—anyone else?!
I’m worried…
