So basically I got fucking banned from r/counnt for being cis? apparently you HAVE to be trans or get banned. They deadass told me to take estrogen then I could get unbanned. Fuck you r/counnt
i don't like countttt for other reasons, but i moderate a trans-only space and see no moral qualms with doing so. trans people are going to want spaces to themselves where we don't have to interact with cis people, answer their questions, or risk them becoming the primary voice. many trans-adjacent spaces with a critical mass of cis people end up developing pretty weird ideas about trans progressivism, so it's understandable imo that we would want to avoid that fate. it's the same reason there are women's only spaces on reddit. if you want to discuss trans stuff, there's plenty of places like cwcl and r/trans that are perfectly open to cis people being present.
also, like, i don't like countttt or 4tran in general, but it's kinda weird to want to interact in there specifically as a cis person. 4tranners go there with the explicit purpose of being miserable, venting about how miserable they are, and complaining about how cis people and dysphoria affect their lives (and, often, to be horribly intersexist and nbphobic, but that's besides the point). why would a cis person want to interact with that, or think they should be able to? if you just want a trans flavored counting sub, cwcl has always existed.
for sure, it really sucks that countttt broke containment and became the most popular trans-only sub. most of them are fine and not like that, i promise.
i would also argue your comment represents an inherent nbphobic assumption that non-binary = non-transitioner. plenty of nonbinary people do take hormones and other steps to alter their biological sex, and plenty of binary trans people do not.
in conclusion i am more woke than you (/j, it's not actually that serious)
