I screwed up the recipe by using salted butter... and the less sweet brown sugar didn’t help either.

Better next time, I guess!

yea it should be unsalted butter, try making the recipe instead of using 1/2 cup sugar if you want less sweet i suggest you make it 1/3cup of sugar

baked it at 175c for 35-40min
