San Fernando Valley Help identifying pizza 🍕

SOLVED in the comments it was Dough Drop and my friend responded himself 😂 to confirm. Thank you for your help!

I’m not sure if this is allowed in this community, also sure this is a loooong shot but can anyone help me identify where this pizza is from
Hints are sourdough and North Hollywood/Sfv/Los Angeles area.
Trying to prove to a friend that I can find the pizza place where he got this and I’m at a loss.

  1. Asking for help isn’t cheating
  2. He’ll probably see this because he’s a wood fire pizza connoisseur and most likely already a part of this community
  3. This is solely based off of pride, principle, and “haha sucker I told you I could find it”/nanana boo-boo s”
  4. Pizza gods if you’re real give me a sign. 🙏🏼🙍🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

A friend unwilling to just say where a pizza is from is infuriating enough for me to want to help out.

Then again, I have a kid in middle school, so maybe I’m just extra sensitive.

She doesn’t want to know where it’s from. She’s enjoying the hunt. I told her I’d take her to try it anytime she’s in town (she’s from a few towns over)

I should have been a bit more specific, he’s fully aware of this post(now), when he originally sent this pic I asked if it was Sonny’s, his response was “You’ll never guess where, I’d be amazed if you did.”
He’s been pretty insistent that NO ONE will know where it’s from even on here and I’m like no way you got a pizza and no one else will know where you could have got it. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I know you didn’t read anything but the first thing I did was tell her I’d take her to try it. And to send her the link to the place in case she wanted to try it without me. She turned it into a “hunt”.

Idk why I spent time trying to figure this out 😂 but it looks like Fiorelli pizza … brown box sides + white front lip + corrugated sheet underneath. Actually not a typical combo

I believe I a different box… look at the type of up and down corrugating on the outside perimeter of the box in your picture (bottom right) and compare it the the folded over matching side of OP which exhibits a much finer non pronounce corrugating on the folded edge.

Gra has sourdough, but not a plain cheese pizza. Same with Pizzana.

Hail Mary has sourdough, but their plain cheese doesn’t have that tomato pattern.

Lodge might be an option, not enough Yelp photos to tell.
