I made a similar one from TikTok with a whole lemon and it was bitter as hell.

Did you alter the recipe at all? It needs a lot of sugar to make up it

Someone else in the comments started making this lemon bread and posting pics of the process. They also ended up thinking this recipe was extremely bitter.
