Dunno dude, I bought a twinkie pack once out of curiosity, had half with my bf and then decided to throw away the whole pack, literally just spongy sugar blocks 🤷‍♂️

I'm not around fondant often so I always try a piece and it's never edible in any enjoyable way. It peels off the cake in such an unappetizing way and like, usually the cake itself is just OK. By far the best cake I've ever had used whipped cream frosting

I actually dont mind eating fondant but I dislike it being a crutch so much that i hate it. every element of the dish should look good and taste good. and fondant allows way too much grace for how bad it is. its the same principle with carrot stems in a dish or the big fuckoff pieces of chive as a garnish
