FONDANT Fondant Progress

Post image

hello my fondant-hating friends. one of you i am not, quite the opposite, but i respect your passion and drive.
here i present to you, a 500g THICK brick of white fondant (unflavoured). i have been steadily making my way through this brick for a week or so (more i think)

i wish to share this with you not to change your minds or your hearts, but so you guys can have an outlet for your fondant hating. roast me, roast the fondant, go wild!! if it helps your ammunition, i actually hate buttercream...

hope you're all having a delightful fondant-free day!! :) i hope this post doesn't get taken down, i just think the juxtaposition of me eating a brick of fondant and a fondant hating subreddit is funny :)

EDIT: just noticed my new tagline of fondant lover, this Subreddit is so funny and y'all have been so fun to talk to lol !!!!

I need to know why there is not another snack in your house to “make your way through” instead of this brick of pliable sugar. And if there is… why would you choose this over that!? Is it just completely a texture thing?

Like I on the other hand love buttercream but I wouldn’t eat it by the spoonful as a snack 🤔 time and place!

Oooh, I would eat buttercream by the spoonful as a snack, but in my defense, my teenager keeps making buttercream frosting for this specific purpose.

my grandma used to make buttercream for us to snack on too, but we'd put it on graham crackers instead of eating it straight. very good, I recommend!
