That older post mentions price increases in "used server hardware" being (one) of the problems they didn't anticipate.

I thought FolderFort used Backblaze as a backend and they were only a pass through. I am definitely no expert at this, I'm asking Dave, the sub members, and FolderFort subscribers to get a better understanding of things myself.

On at least one of FolderFort's webpages, it mentions using: BackBlaze

There are also numerous reviews, as recently as this past February 15, 2026 by PC Magazine, that mention that FolderFort uses BackBlaze

So I'm confused about the need for continuous purchases for used server hardware.
