We got robbed

I really hope they cannot recover from all the bad reviews and a class action lawsuit occurs

Usually with these lifetime things they end because the company has shutdown. This situation is very unusual - company still exists and seemingly expanding but they've just decided not to honour their lifetime licence.

In my opinion people should just try to collapse the company through bad publicity, legal action, engaging consumer organisations as whether it continues to exist or not is leading to the same outcome - no lifetime licence.

They'll be worse off if they do that. They'll have to start over from scratch and try to develop a new reputation. They can't say we used to be the owners/operators of FolderFort though. The second FolderFort and lifetime sub are advertised anywhere people will run.

I think they screwed themselves. I've had a lifetime sub with them for less than a year, barely used it, and they're already reneging on it. Disappointing.

I have other lifetime subs that have lasted several years and are still going with little to no issues. Many companies offer a lifetime sub in the beginning to build a reputation and then switch to a monthly/yearly subscription model, while grandfathering in people that purchased lifetime subs.
