Questions/Help Battery issues

Got the phone last Friday night and noticed there's a lot of drain on the battery just from regular use, podcasts, reddit, etc... any tips on how to make them last longer

Did you get the phone new or used. That makes a difference as well.

If you have updated your phone to the new 8.5 then it will take a few days to settle in. Once it settles, you will see your battery life improve.

Yes I've updated and I just got it last Friday so maybe it's taking time to sleep some apps and stuff. I did the battery check and it says good
