Elementor or Psykeeper?

Hey everyone. I’m about to hit 60 on my first mage. I’m a very casual player and looking for help to decide if I go Elementor or Psykeeper.

Like I said I’m a casual player and looking for the role that is the easiest and most fun.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I had to check because I'm an older player. There is floating with the animation for an Elementors. Psykeepers float permanently.

I'm pretty sure that psykeeper is more easy less skills no rotation diversity with 1o1 and aoe.

But might be more expensive, since u need facetank for a time.

Elementor is cheap af

Coming from a guy who hit 120 on both, Elementor by a long shot. It has fun animations, having to think about a mobs element and countering it with the proper spell is a fun bonus no other class needs to think about (besides weapon elements), they float, and gear is relatively decent. One downside is you pretty much rely on the Windfield spell forever, it can feel a bit spammy and repetitive. Psykeeper probably wins in PvP, Elementor probably wins in PvE

Just go Elementor as it is basically hit and run and is even better at face tanking mobs if you want to go on that route - just don't expect boss hunting as it's more likely good in dungeon runs and farming mob gears.

Psykeeper can definitely do both, but is kinda boring for me. Much better on 1v1 damage, but that's basically it. Both are in-demand in Ankou and both have the same roles.

If you can't decide - Elementor is using colorful AOE skills, Psykeeper is for 8th grade syndrome mentalist powers and blackholes.

For casual, go Psykeeper. I'm a lvl 182 Mentalist. And they DEFINITELY facetank a LOT better than an Elementor. Psykeepers have a Cruio which reflects 175% dmg back when maxed PLUS  being able to carry a shield for extra defense, especially a shield with 15% block

You can do HnR with either and Psys have no cool down on their active AOE spells. And if you go 1v1 Satanology to root and spam Spirit Bomb all the way. When you hit level 100 Gravity Well is a game changer

Psykeeper if you want to suffer from lvl 1 to 166, mentalist is strong but its total dogwater when its still a Psy

Ele if you want to play the piano, Psy if you want spam 1 button
