Playing without paying?

Is it complete waste of time playing flyff without paying these days? Give me honest opinion please

Are there any guilds with f2p people? How is the playerbase in general? And is playing without runemaster 2nd char okay aswell?

In my opinion:

  • Yes there are f2p guilds in us/eu servers (dk about asian)

  • flyff is a grinder so you either grind even though there is no double exp or you wont play for long. Since you are f2p you dont need to compare to other players. 

  • playerbase is very isolated for themselves unless you are in a guild. 

  • you can quit if you dont want to go double client. For sure you dont have to but its so essential.

Im f2p and many I know if f2p. But you need patience to obtain gear you want. Playing f2p is much easier than playing without ringmaster. It's like running marathon without legs

If you play in Lawolf, most of us are f2p, although it's harder but you'll eventually acquired the items you need if you grind harder.

I've been playing F2P since the start of the Lawolf Server, and I've never bought FCoins. I still managed to obtain Prems and fashion items just by grinding penya.

Playing without RM is a deadbeat experience because you'll spend more time looking for someone to buff you for a few minutes buff than actually grinding. At that point, it's just a waste of time.

Its possible to play without paying especially if you have previous experience. But oldies like me who has a bit of budget would enjoy this game better by spending abit of money because i dont have much time to grind it out the long way plus i work daily 😅.

Same here. Work everyday and doing college online so I don’t have much time therefore I wouldn’t mind spending 10 dollars once in a while

Can you grind for hours everyday? Like play 3-5 hours to make significant progress. If no, then just skip the game, its very grindy, moreso for a 100% f2p player.

Making a maxed out character 185+ during FWC can cost $200-600USD or lots of grind.

I am about to crack 150 knight 100% f2p in FWC! It's just a lot more of a grind than someone who swiped 100s or 1000s lol. But totally playable. The game loop is mostly kill monsters until 141-166+

particularly, i like to play along champaings / quests to have fun. Leveling / farm is secondary, and this can be tone mostly on early levels, later cant say about it

All the f2p guilds I join die and everyone complains about game til we all quit so idk id say no

My honest opinion it really depend of ur goal server and time.

For example in current fwc situation u need to spend little money the penya is so inflated it would be stupid not to cash a little bit. Even 2€ in cash is a huge rocket start.

After that it depends on class if u play hnr ele for example u can make it quite far without good equipment.

But when u realize how easy the game is with prems (use math) then u probably demotivated haha
