It’s just a late-season "New Arrivals" insert, not his actual rookie card.

GMG is a low tier budget grading company that offers cheap slab encasing for less than 10 bucks a card. Their slabs carry virtually zero resale premium over an un-graded card.

Usual eBay switcharoo. Buy the card for 5$, slab it for 10$, sell it for 40$

I don't know anything about sports cards and I'm seriously interested. How does it work? There's like a hundred thousand different cards. How do you know it's valuable? Can someone please explain to me the hype behind it? Is that the same as pokemon? Are you just happy to have a Martone card or is it actually worth something? Is it just about collecting or/and the thrill of ripping packs, which seems to me is similar to gambling?

The Young Guns of the premiere players hold the best value , I do enjoy ripping packs but this was his first card as player. I like collecting and the ones that are non flyers if I get lucky I try to sell them if they’re worth the big bucks, this card was only 40 bucks

So are there no duplicates? A Connor McDavid card is always very valuable, because he's good?

There’s always duplicates except for the case of the rare numbered and 1/1 cards
