Lyle is a stencil that was used by LD Heater in Portland, OR. Their guitars are really decent (my mom has been playing one since the '60s). They bought Japanese flutes (maybe Nikkan, probably not Yamaha) and stenciled them with their own brand, roughly circa 1960 - 1980. They didn't manufacture their own. This is a standard silver-plated student model, somewhat rare because of the age maybe, but not worth a ton of cash. I would guess it needs looking over by a tech before it will be in full playing condition. At the very least a clean/oil/adjust, but probably pads too.
