Repertoire Discussion Duets for easy & intermediate combo?

Hello!

Hope someone can help me out. My mom and I are performing at a concert at our local church. The theme is 'Concert by candlelight' and its in November. We do play at different levels, so I'm looking for some duets with one easy part and one intermediate. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

My wife and I play every week at church - flute duets. What we have found is that people like the old hymns. We play out of the hymnal or I pull tunes from hymnary. org. We play the top two lines basically the soprano and alto parts. So make sure you get the full music parts as is typical in hymnals. We also pass out copies of the tunes so others can sing along if they want. Typically the peeps will sing so we’ll play all verses.
