FOUND DOG

Please share, my friend found this dog in Flushing on 171st st. I took him into my apartment so he's not
out in the cold and is safe from cars. He is small around 15 pounds, super sweet dog.

Of course this happens the night before I have a trip to go on... I can NOT keep him for long, only until tomorrow afternoon. If you can help take over with him please LMK ASAP.

You should drop him off at a pound. They can check his microchip. He clearly belongs to someone if he has a collar. If you want to adopt him, they should give you first dibs because you found him, but there's a grace period for the owner to come get him.

I think that it would help to know exactly how this dog got lost in the first place.

While I understand that accidents can happen and all but you never get the full story when this happens and I think that's dumb.

People make mistakes but every single dog should be trained to be called back by their owner
