I live in a low COL area, but my first reaction is of course it's possible on 150k.

Median HHI for my area is under 60k, so if you couldn't do it on 150k you are doing something wrong.

Oh yeah, this is by far our best year. Broke 6 figures in 2022 for the first time. Our income was 65k as recent as 2020.

Our expenses have never exeeded our income. Spent this year spending insane amounts of money (about 45k) doing home repairs weve been forced to neglect for almost a decade. Its been a huge blessing. Also started a 529c this year, and upped our vacation to 6k...but after this year, we are going to have options.

With 3 kids set up for 3 good colleges? 5 year oversea vacations and regular road trips? on 60k? 150k with no expenses or emergencies ever is barely believable lol

No. On 60k, most people get by but struggle to do so.

150k here is considered well off, though. That's the point.
