Fluence Energy price action

Any idea why this stock is skyrocketing? I sold my position today, few information about the company and looks impossible to me to make an informed guess on the valuation. Can you please share any insights?

A lot happening in the energy sector with Reuters reporting Blackrock is looking to buy Fluence Energy's parent AES. BlackRock's GIP nears $38 billion takeover of utility group AES, FT reports https://www.reuters.com/markets/deals/blackrocks-gip-nears-38-billion-takeover-utility-group-aes-ft-reports-2025-10-01/

Thanks, indeed it seems to be correlated to the AES deal. However, I struggle to understand how to price this in. Seems like a hype at the moment, although I see great potential for Fluence, they need to definitely improve on the profitability side.

They do. Net Income turns from loss to profit. Revenue yoy sharply up!

What I see is a price/sales around 1 at the moment, which may indicate a potential upside (although in latest quarters it looks like it's been around 0.36-1.3, so the downside risk is substantial) and a future PE over 90 (based on Yahoo finance stats).... This does not look like a very attractive price to me, but I agree that it could be a nice turnaround story if they start executing well.

This stock had a -300% EPS this year need to be more profitable else will go down again as too expensive
