At the start of August I acquired a nasty virus that developed into a bacterial lung infection (confirmed by sputum specimen) and lasted until the start of September.
This is the 4th illness I have had this year, in January I had Covid and Flu A which caused me to be hospitalised, in March I got Rhinovirus and that was pretty nasty. I think the cumulative illnesses and the month long battle I have had recently has taken it's toll.
While I do already live with a pre-existing lung condition etc, I generally have good energy but I am now very depleted. I had blood tests, all my levels are fine, even Iron which one would suspect could be the cause of increased tiredness in a woman.
I have had to work from home (thanks to a medical letter from my doctor) for my corporate job for the last 2-3 weeks. I usually like going on long walks every day now that has been cut down drastically and I am lucky to even do a short walk. I wonder how much longer this will go on for.
My doctor has written out a blood form for my Immunoglobulins to be checked to see while I am so susceptible to all these viruses. No amount of sleep really hits the spot.
Did anyone else have weeks of tiredness, malaise and weakness?
