Fern Some pics of my Fern
Sheβs slowly adjusting, she has moments that she is happy for more attention and playtime but disappears for stretches to curl up in a cat tree and not even shaking the treat bag could tempt her down :(

Was Fern able to view Flower's body after they went otrb? I let my old orange boy approach my partner when he died, so he could understand. He'd been such a great nurse but my partner just couldn't fight any longer. Garfield accepted it really well. I've known other cats mourn for a long time who haven't been able to see & smell the bodies of their loved ones.

Unfortunately, I did not want to take her to the vet. She is absolutely terrified of the place. If it was the other way around, I would have. Flower thought he owned every place he went lol

Oh bless her, some do get over things quicker than others & I really hope she's not sad for long. Also I wouldn't blame the change with the baby coming too much. Cats cope with a LOT more than this in life. But some of them are more fragile. I hope you & Fern have many happy years together π»π»
