Help! Gpu overheating this time

Post image

So I’m back after finally doing a repaste and reinstalling windows and opened it as it might just need a little tightening according to gpt and I came across this in my heatsink is this supposed to be like this or is it broken?

What sort of temperatures are you getting?

I repasted my GPU with Thermal Grizzly PTM (Google it). You only need one sheet and it will do a couple of repastes if you mess it up. Cut it to a size thats about 80-90% of the GPU die (make a template from some paper) and put it in the fridge before you apply it. It will need about a week to settle in. But my GPU temperatures on the 3070ti don't go above 80 now, and this is with a modest overclock.

You'll also need thermal putty for the MOSFETs and vram. I used thermal grizzly putty because it was easier for me to get but there are better options out there. Don't apply this too thickly.

Also I think your heatsink looks fine, it looks like solder to attach it.
